Academic Outreach and Engagement Council Seeks New Members

Are you involved in academic outreach and engagement at the University of Tennessee and/or do you have an interest in advancing engaged scholarship at UT?  If so, please considering applying to be a member of the UT Academic Outreach and Engagement Council (AOEC).

Membership on the AOEC is open to all faculty members from the University of Tennessee Knoxville campus and the Institute of Agriculture interested in academic outreach and engagement.  Members can be nominated in one of two ways:

  1. Members may be self-nominated based on experience, interest, and expertise in academic outreach and engagement.
  1. The Vice Chancellor for Research & Engagement will also solicit recommendations for nominations from deans or directors.

If you are interested, please complete this very short application form by August 1, 2016.

Application forms will be reviewed by members of the AOEC Nominations/Membership Committee, who will provide membership recommendations to the AOEC.

Council members serve a two-year term. Additional information about the Council is available here.

Best regards,

Taylor Eighmy, Vice Chancellor for Research & Engagement
