Funding: Knoxville Projects that Promote Community Health and Better Quality of Life

The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is now accepting proposals for community projects that utilize physical fitness activities to improve quality of life in the community, promote healthy eating or living, support current programs promoting physical activity (i.e. supplies, equipment, materials, or other similar items), or a combination of the above.

The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon presented a total of more than $15,000 in healthy living grants to the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum, The Muse Knoxville, Girls on the Run of Greater Knoxville, and Knoxville Recreational Therapy Program as part of the race’s 2015 Community Contribution Program.
