The Academic Outreach and Engagement Council (AOEC) is soliciting self-nominations for members for 2015-2016. Membership on the AOEC is open to all faculty members from the University of Tennessee and the Institute of Agriculture interested in academic outreach and engagement.
At a June 25th meeting of the University of Tennessee’s state-wide board of trustees, the board approved revisions to UT’s faculty handbook that now include outreach and engaged scholarship in the framework for appointment, evaluation, promotion and tenure of faculty.
