Centro Hispano de East Tennessee plays a vital and growing role in the Knoxville Community and has become a major partner for UT as well. Our partnership has been foundational in supporting a growing number of collaborative projects. Last month, support by UT’s College of Veterinary Medicine and the HABIT program, Centro Hispano children learned about dog bite prevention. A special session for these children at Knoxville’s North Star Church was followed by questions and reinforcement with a HABIT dog.
