Knoxville Area Employment Consortium Sponsors Window Sticker Design Competition

Deadline for Design Submissions:  July 29, 2016.

Winners will be notified by August 19, 2016.

The Knoxville Area Employment Consortium (KAEC) is a Knoxville based organization committed to improving employment opportunities for people with disabilities.  Last year, KAEC held a community conversation which was designed to brainstorm ways to increase the employment of people with disabilities in our region. One idea generated by this event was better recognition for businesses/employers.

KAEC now seeks submissions for the design of a window sticker which will be mass produced and displayed by businesses who employ people with disabilities in the greater Knoxville area. The purpose of this initiative is to recognize businesses who support diversity in employment. Cash prizes in the amounts of $300, $150, and $75 will be awarded to the top three designs. Entries will be evaluated by the Knoxville Area Employment Consortium and judged based on aesthetics, ease of production, and relevancy.

The finished sticker will be approximately 5 inches in size and either square, oval, or circular. Entrants are encouraged to use “KAEC” in the design: current logo files may be found here. Artwork should also include the following CMYK colors and may also include complementary colors and shades: Blue- 100, 83, 10, 1; Yellow- 2, 11, 99, 0; Red- 100% Red; and Green- 83, 10, 84, 1. Designs can be submitted in electronic format or on paper.  Multiple submissions are allowed. All submissions will become the property of the Cerebral Palsy Center. KAEC and the Cerebral Palsy Center reserve the right to change/modify designs as needed for production, clarity, and/or aesthetics.
