BI thumbnailNSF Program officers, research administrators, and community engagement professionals generally agree that Broader Impact activity must be developed as an integral part of individual grant proposals. However, there remains a need to balance originality with existing support. Investigators should leverage and pool resources, taking advantage wherever possible of existing relationships and infrastructure.

The purpose of this document is to connect UT’s world-class researchers with their university colleagues who

  • Already have external partnerships and program support in place,
    and
  • Have indicated a willingness to work with additional UT investigators who may add new value to their work.
