NIH: Collaborative Activities to Expedite Environmental Health Science Research, Translation, and Community Engagement Across EHS Core Centers

Designated funds are administrative supplements to improve P30 Health Sciences Core Centers partnerships around  research and engagement.

Home Depot Community Impact Grants Program

The Home Depot Foundation offers Community Impact Grantsup to $5,000, to “support the renovation, refurbishment, retrofitting, accessibility modifications, and/or weatherization of existing homes, centers, schools and other similar facilities.” The funding will go to assist local veterans, their families, or community of veterans.

These grants are available to IRS-registered 501c designated organizations and tax-exempt public service agencies that use volunteers to improve the physical health of their community. Funding is given  in the form of The Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services.

The deadline to submit applications is December 31, 2018. Awardees will be notified within six weeks of of submission.
