Making a Difference: Agricultural Field Work with International Partners
International field-work provides a platform for faculty and students to engage in cutting-edge research on global challenges integral to our agricultural and food systems, as well as experiential learning opportunities throughout the world that often combine academic activities with hands-on engagement during the summer, mini-term, an entire semester or academic year.
Making a Difference: Gulu Study and Service Abroad Program
GSSAP is an international service-learning course for UT students in Conflict and Peace-Building in Northern Uganda, with guest lectures by Ugandan colleagues and community members. Students work in local, community-based organizations to reinforce what they have learned. The program cultivates ongoing relationships and collaborations among UT students and faculty and their Ugandan counterparts.
